The Omer Research Symposium is in its 23rd year and over the years has highlighted the best in orthopaedic research. The culmination of the academic year was celebrated at the La Cantera Resort on Thursday, 24 June 2021 and brought together orthopaedic residents and faculty, rehabilitation specialists and community surgeons.

Established in 2015, the San Antonio Military Medical Center Orthopaedic Residency Alumni Association has helped to celebrate the heritage of the program and successes of so many alumni. Additionally, it continues to further the education of the current San Antonio Uniformed Services Healthcare Education Consortium Orthopaedic Surgery Residents.
