National recognition for SAMMC Alumni

Matt Schmitz (2009) was named as a member of ANCHOR (the Academic Network of Conservational Hip Outcomes Research) recently and is featured in their most recent newsletter. SAMMC is the only military treatment facility member and works alongside premier centers like HSS, Mayo and others to promote hip preservation surgery. Matt and Andrew Murtha (2020) were also featured as the lead authors on a recent JAAOS review of developmental hip dysplasia. Get the newsletter here.
